At Ban Don Kliang School, the English Program follows the internationally recognized Cambridge Curriculum and is offered at the Prathom (elementary) level. NORMAL SCHOOL

The regular program at Ban Don Kliang School is a public school offering classes from Anuban (kindergarten) to Prathom (elementary) and Mathayom 1-3 (lower secondary). The school has a 16-room building and provides a supportive learning environment. Two Filipino teachers handle speaking and listening subjects, enhancing students’ English communication skills. This program ensures accessible education for the local community.

OTHERS

FLAG CEREMONY

At Ban Don Kliang School, the flag ceremony happens every day at exactly 8:50 AM, showing how proud they are of their country. Every Thursday, everyone, except for the foreign teachers, wears their scout uniform for "Scout Day." Prathom and Anuban students also get free milk every day. It is my first time experiencing this, and it is really interesting to see how they celebrate these traditions.

LUNCH TIME

At Ban Don Kliang School, it is also a tradition to have free lunch, which features typical Thai food. There is always one pork dish, one chicken dish, and a fruit served with the meal. I have had the chance to experience and taste the usual meals served to Anuban and Prathom students. Teachers also get free lunch, and I always eat with the Filipino teachers from both the English Program and the regular school. I also get the chance to serve the students their meals alongside the student teachers from Suratthani Rajabhat University. It is a great way to connect and enjoy authentic Thai cuisine.
